The DECA Idea Challenge is an experiential learning exercise that dares elementary through college students to form teams, find an innovative new use for a commonplace item and pitch the invention in a YouTube video presentation in merely eight days. Students around the world compete for the title of DECA Idea Challenge global winner. The activity promotes meaningful student engagement in the field of entrepreneurship though idea generation. The item to be used in the challenge will remain a mystery until revealed by DECA Inc. on November 10, 2019 at 12:01 a.m. ET. All submissions are due by November 17, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
